How to make a Dairy Free and Sugar Free Chai Latte

If you're like me and can't have dairy and avoid sugar its hard to find good recipes. On top of that I don't always want to pay $5-6 dollars for a drink. So if you're looking for a chai recipe that's easy on your digestion, blood sugar levels, and wallet then I got a solution! My mom was the one who discovered this recipe after becoming borderline diabetic on top of already being lactose intolerant. Now its our favorite drink we like to have while we work on puzzles together and watch hallmark movies all winter. So how do you make this magic chai latte? Here is what you'll need!

You will need:
Blue Dimond Unsweetened Vanilla Almondmilk
Oregon Chai Sugar Free
Measuring cup
Milk Frother (Not necessary but adds a nice finishing touch.)
Cinnamon on top (Not necessary but looks fancy)

How to Make the Chai
Step 1.) Use a measuring cup and pour 1/2 cup of chai into it. Next add 1/2 cup of milk

Step 1.) Next add 1/2 cup of milk

Step 3.) Microwave your drink for 1-2 minutes or use the tea/beverage setting if your microwave has one.

Step 4.) Pour your drink into your mug and you're ready to enjoy!

Step 5.) If you'd like you can use a milk frother to add a foam layer on top of your drink.

Step 6.) Sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top for flavor and aesthetic.
